Founded in 2013 by keyboardist Mood Yassin and guitarist Alain Ibrahim, the Progmetal quintet already gained a lot of well-deserved, international attention. Hailing from Metn, Lebanon, a region not necessarily famous for this genre of music, TURBULENCE emerged and left a mark with performances dubbing them as one of the most proficient and promising Progmetal bands in the Middle East. Completing their line-up with Sayed Gereige on drums, bassist Anthony Atwe, and the expressive voice of Omar El Hage, their 2nd album “Frontal” (2021) impressively showed the band’s ability to combine captivating musical storytelling with dynamic compositions and modern sounds.
Earlier this year, TURBULENCE released another Prog masterpiece, on which they invite their listeners on a robot's journey in the groundbreaking process of Binary Dreaming. With their complex yet accessible music, they offer a unique, engaging listening experience by presenting a multi-faceted story rich in emotion. The blend of marvelous song-writing, high technical skills and mesmerizing virtuosity impressively shows the band’s growth and ambition.
Welcome to catch them live for the first time in Germany at Prog Metal Mania 2025!
