What began as an outlet in the pandemic's loneliness for its mastermind Eddy Levitsky, The Anchoret's debut earned a lot of well deserved praise in 2023 and beyond, catching music lovers all around the world with their highly emotional release. During the recording process, Eddy brought an illustrious line-up on board, as we can hear the powerful vocals of Sylvain Auclair (Heaven's Cry, Karcius), Leo Estalles' guitar virtuosity, the intricate, dynamic drumming of James Christopher Knoerl (Aviations), alongside with Andy Tillison (The Tangent) enriching the sound with vintage keyboards and synths.

The album masterfully weaves together mesmerizing guitar lines and marvelous sonic landscapes with hints of Death Metal, featuring clarinet solos, gospel vocals, and outstanding saxophone passages that add emotional depth rarely heard in modern music.
