Back in 2020, the UK based band Novena caught the Progmetal scene by storm with their debut album "Eleventh Hour". During the 74 minutes, their music moves from profound to profane, from fragile to unforgiving, and from introspective to the destructive, exploring a plethora of genres and emotions along the way. While each song has its own identity and story, served by a dance of lyric and poetry, the real magic unfolds in the records entirety, which even got an epilogue with "The Stopped Clock" in 2021. 

Standing out thanks to its brilliant, diverse song-writing and excellent musicianship, the sextett brings together Rock with Jazz and Classical elements, beautiful melodies and huge vocal harmonies with harsh growls, and hot, Spanish rhythms with mighty Metal riffs, skillfully melted to a marvelous, new whole.   

After some line-up changes, Novena II has now Pipi Gogerl as second singer, building an expressive vocal duo with Ross Jennings (Haken), Andrew Scott on drums, and a highly anticipated, new album on the horizon.
