Hailing from Tampere in Finland and named after the angel of balance and harmony, Anthriel have released two records so far. Both "The Pathway" (2010) and "Transcendence" (2017) are concept albums inspired by R.A. Salvatore's "Forgotten Realms: The Dark Elf Trilogy", and inviting the listeners on a captivating journey - like a great book or movie - to stay with their marvelous music for a while. 

Their sound is driven by big guitar riffs, deft keyboard touches and a rock solid articulate rhythm section. This being said, Anthriel offers Progmetal that’s accessible from the very first listen, yet where further plays reveal numerous hidden depths that will keep you coming back for more.  The expressive vocal performance high in melody is built into intricate yet digestible arrangements, and fans of neclassical instrumental wizardry will find plenty to enjoy here.
